Rules we should have
We can simplify our legal system by junking it and using these rules:
-Don't be a jerk
-Be kind
-Don't go stupid places with stupid people to do stupid stuff
-Mind your own business
-Don't cause harm
-Don't touch my stuff
-Add more joy
-Leave it better than you found it
-Help row the boat

If you break the rules, penalties can be: death, beatings, banishment, butler service to the injured party. Putting people in jail does not help anyone.
